Girls Night at the Mad Potter

2 weeks ago some friends and I had a girls night at The Mad Potter. We had each happened to catch an episode of John and Kate plus 8 where the little kids were decorating pottery. It was sooo cute! Several of us have small children so we immediately decided that we had to do it! Within a week we had the outing planned. By the way, if you have not seen John and Kate plus 8 you are missing out! It is a great show on TLC about a couple who could not get pregnant on their own so they did fertility treatments and had a set of twin girls. They then decided to try for 1 more and had sextuplets! I love the show because they are such great parents. In moments of weakness I always think of the show and say to myself, if Kate can do this with 6 babies then I can surely do it with 1! Ok, anyways, us girls went to dinner and had cocktails and then we went to the Mad Potter (where we had some more cocktails): I made some adorable coasters and then took K.P. back the next day and put his hand and feet prints on them. They turned out so cute! I also made a cookie jar to put all of my newly baked cookies in. I had grand plans to put K.P.'s hands all over the cookie jar as well but it just never happened.

When Andrew's Mom heard that we went to The Mad Potter she dug up an old puppy that Andrew made when he was 10-years-old. I thought it was cute. Here's a picture!
